Go Trio will appear for the first time at the COTA Jazz Festival on September 11th, and at the Cheltenham Center for the Arts on November 2nd. Joining them will be frequent cohort, marvelous vocalist Jeannie Brooks.

In June, Gene and Sean joined dear friend/Parisien singer Viktorija Gecyte, and fab San Francisco drummer Jon Arkin, for several performances in the Bay Area, including a three-night run at Biscuits and Blues in the SF theatre district, a performance at the International Society of Bassists Convention at SF State U, and a recital (complete with nine-foot Fazioli grand) at the Piedmont Piano Company, part of which can be seen here: YouTube

Gene has been traveling a bit in 2011, Europe (Switzerland, France, Denmark, Estonia, & Finland), California (L.A. & S.F.), San Antonio, and Canada (Montreal & Toronto).
